18 January 2010, MANILA, PHILIPPINES—What a way to start the year.
RedFox, the first Filipino laptop and PC system brand, started the year right by launching its newest lineup of products to both the press and its channels last January 15, 2010 at the Crown Plaza Galleria Manila. To date then, the brand has a total of three laptop series (Wizbook, Razor, and Optima), and four lines of desktops (Deskpod, Ultima, Vengeance Evo, and RDX V7/V8). The Wizbook series and the Deskpod and Ultima lines are not actually new but include revamped models to address the ever-changing needs of consumers. In addition, RedFox's gaming desktop, the Vengeance Evo, comes pre-packaged with accessories such as the controller and the Wizbar, the brand's venture into PC Wii gaming.
At the press launch, a short demonstration by RedFox's Regional Marketing Director, Jay Rañola, also highlighted the shockproof and waterproof features of gaming keyboards from RedFox.
Three lucky members of the press won two (2) Wizbars and one (1) Wizbook N1020i, while trips to El Nido, Palawan were raffled off during the RedFox channel launch.
Also in attendance were the brand's technology partners—Intel, AMD, and Intraco Technology, AMD's biggest distributor in Asia.
According to Michael Mondragon, VP for Sales and Marketing for RedFox, “RedFox has been in the industry for more than 10 years. This year, as we become more aggressive, we're positive that we'll be sticking around for more than 10 more.”
Entertainment was provided by Akafellas, an a capella singing group, at the channel launch.
