January 26, 2011 – As part of the anniversary celebration of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), REDFOX was invited to provide computer equipment to its proposed Disaster Command Center, which was personally witnessed by his Excellency President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III at the department’s central office in Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City.

This prototype project of a disaster command center aims to deliver accurate and up-to-date information for DSWD in case of calamities and other phenomena. It also serves as a database of social statistics throughout the regions in the Philippines, such as poverty demographics and casualty estimates.

REDFOX provided six units of its Vengeance EVO G402 desktop computer and six 23-inch LCD screen monitors for the hardware requirement of the DSWD Disaster Command Center. The set up was specifically designed by REDFOX for the department.

Aside from President Aquino, present was DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman, who commended the performance of the whole set up.
